Who we are

At Word & Power Church, our vision is to win the lost and empower believers to live victorious lives through Christ. We are called to be a global voice, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will hear — reaching the whole person: spirit, soul (mind, will, emotions), and body.

This vision is implemented through a six-fold process:

  • To win the lost and empower believers to live in victory every day.

  • To transform lives through the teaching of God’s Word and the demonstration of His power.

  • 🔹 Evangelism — Winning the Lost "God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:4; Matthew 8:11; Luke 19:10)

    🔹 Empowerment — Strengthening Believers We empower believers through a balanced approach of teaching and preaching, helping them grow into disciples, ministers, and ambassadors for Christ. (1 Thessalonians 1:5–6; John 8:31–32; 2 Corinthians 5:20)

    🔹 Equipping — Preparing for Ministry We equip spiritual leaders and believers with the tools needed to work effectively in ministry and operate in the gifts of the Spirit with excellence. (Ephesians 4:11–16)

    🔹 Edifying — Bringing Healing and Hope Through the teaching of God's Word, we bring hope, comfort, and encouragement to the broken, bruised, and forgotten, allowing Jesus to bring healing spiritually, mentally, and physically. (Luke 4:18; James 1:21)

    🔹 Educating — Growing in Christ We teach believers who they are in Christ, leading them into a working knowledge and deeper understanding of Jesus Christ and His mission. (2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Peter 3:9; Luke 14:23)

    🔹 Exalting — Lifting Up Jesus Christ We exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of the world, drawing all people to Him. (John 12:32)
